Introduction of Anda Library

Anda Library was founded in 1960, setting up departments by functions to deal with certain business, such as Acquisition & Cataloging, Counseling Center, Technical Support, Circulating and Reading Department, Rare Books and Special Collections Department, Children’s Department, Reading Room, the National Cultural Information Resource Sharing Project the Anda Branch Center. The museum has a high level of professional and technical personnel with a total of  19 management staff. There are 7 undergraduates and 12 college students, including 10 senior titles, 5 intermediate titles and 4 junior titles.

  The museum adhere to the “people-oriented, public-priority” management service concept, “the reader first, service first” principle or service tent, insist on holidays and weekends are open to the public. In order to make books go into life and make a reading habit, the library perennial in the reader advocate reading books, reading good books, diligent study, good reading .We will make full use of the paper collections and the advantages of the multimedia platform of the provincial cultural information resource sharing project, and the service area will be extended to the grassroots continuously. A large sum of books are donated annually to the rural library, the community reading room and the school library, meanwhile, it also advocates teenagers read the classic works as the focus of the promotion of traditional culture, which will accelerate the development of reading activities. The Anda Library is moving forward with the aim of first-class service, top management and A-list readers.
